Penetrating & Moisturizing:
Unlike many plant oils used to treat dry and problematic skin, this infused oil has very high penetration and absorption ability, absorbing deep into the layers of skin. Its unique ability to absorb completely and deeply are due in part to the natural components in the Camellia oil, such as saponins. Many skin care products on the market have chemicals added to increase their ability to penetrate the skin, such as; Propylene Glycol and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. These are harmful chemicals, and absorb deep into the layers of skin and enter your bloodstream. Camellia oil's natural penetration enhancer's help the oil penetrate beneath the top layer, moisturizing skin without harmful chemicals.

This infused oil is excellent for pregnant womenand body builders, in helping to prevent stretchmarks.

Radiation and Chemotherapy Patients:
This infused oil is very gentle and does not contain chemical additives, without heat processing, and no filler oils. It is an excellent skin nourishing oil and very safe for those who are undergoing or are preparing to undergo radiation or chemotherapy. Both treatments are known to cause skin damage and excessive dryness and other side effects.

Infants & Children:
The ingredients in this body oil are extremely gentle and without chemicals, harmful preservatives, heat processing, and does not contain any filler ingredients. It is safe for daily use on infants and children.

Sunblock UVB Note:
The oils in this infusion help protect skin from UVB sun rays (not UVA), which is important because all UV-rays break down collagen and elastin fibers, damage DNA, generate free radicals, and create abnormal bonds between molecules. In simpler terms, this leads to sun damaged skin, premature lines and wrinkles, discoloration, and poor skin texture. Camellia oil should not be considered a sunblock, as it does not have the ability to provide natural sun blocking protection.

How to use Camellia Oil Infusion

For Face and Neck: 

For best results, apply a few drops in the morning and evening after cleansing your skin. Use circular motions until mostly absorbed. If applying makeup, wait 5-10 minutes to allow the remaining oil to absorb. Helps makeup glide on without that dry feeling. Can be used alone or with our Camellia Oil Healthy Face and/or Body Lotion.

Please Note: Although Camellia oil is known to help protect skin from the damaging effects from UVB light, it is not a "Natural Sun Block".

For hands and body use:

Use a small amount to cover the areas you wish to apply and massage in gently until mostly absorbed, the remaining oil will be absorbed by your skin momentarily. Can be used morning and night, and can be used with or followed with our Camellia Oil Body Lotion for even longer lasting protection and moisturizing.

For Chemotherapy & Radiation Treated Skin

Camellia oil infusion is safe enough to apply to skin as often as needed. It is very beneficial to follow with our Camellia Oil Body Lotion which is free of fragrances, dyes, and harmful ingredients/chemicals, including harmful and potentially harmful preservatives.

For itchy skin after bath or shower:

For those who suffer intense itching after a bath or shower, and/or swimming, the natural anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties in this body oil will help give relief, almost immediately. Towel dry and apply a thin layer to your skin and rub in, making sure to cover areas of intense itching. If you still feel slight itching or tingling in spot, apply to those areas missed and rub into skin. Reapply as needed, can be used with our Camellia Oil Body Lotion to provide longer relief.

Expectant Mothers & Body Builders ~ To Help Prevent / Minimize Stretch Marks: 

Apply to needed areas "at least" twice a day. Massage in circular motion until the oil is absorbed. Allow 10-15 minutes for the remaining oil to absorb. It can also help to take Hydraplenish with MSM® (Hyaluaronic Acid with MSM) from NATURE'S WAY, which works internally, working from the inside of your body while Camellia oleifera oil works on the outer layers of skin. Preterm Infant Massage:

For burns and sunburn:

Apply after the affected area is cleaned using thoroughly washed hands or sterile gauze, covering the affected areas lightly, and reapply as needed. Can be used along with our Camellia Oil Manuka Honey Body Lotion for more protection.

For Hair:

BEFORE SHAMPOO:
As a pre-shampoo treatment, apply to hair 20-30 minutes before shampooing, wrap hair in bag and cover with a towel to heat the oil by body heat. After 20-30 minutes, shampoo as normal. It is helpful to allow hair to air dry, not applying heat from a hair dryer.
AFTER SHAMPOOING:
While your hair is still wet, apply a 'small' amount to your hands and rub i n completely . Allow to air dry.
FOR EXTRA DRY OR DAMAGED HAIR:
Apply to hair and distribute evenly and thoroughly, cover head with plastic bag and cover with a towel to heat the oil by body heat. Leave on for two hours or overnight. Wash to remove any excess oil not absorbed.

Astragalus (Astragalus membranaceus) Root

Considered a "superior class" herb for radiant skin, Astragalus is widely used throughout the Orient as a tonic food and medicinal plant and can stimulate virtually every phase of immune system activity. It increases the number of "stem cells" in the marrow and lymph tissue, and stimulates their development into active immune cells which are released into the body. University of Texas Medical Center in Houston, scientists conducted a test of damaged immune system cells from cancer patients, compared against cells from the blood of normal human subjects. Completion of the tests showed that Astragalus extracts were able to completely restore the function of cancer patients' immune cells. In some cases, the compromised cells were stimulated to greater activity than those from normal human subjects.

Calendula Flowers (Calendula officinalis)

Calendula has natural anti-inflammatory, anti-spasmodic, vulnerary (aiding healing of wounds) properties and is wonderful for skin infections, wounds, rashes, bites and inflammations. Recommended for mixed and oily skin as calendula oil is somewhat cooling and slightly drying. Calendula is also known to help the healing of scars and is helpful for eczema. Camellia oleifera oil is high in natural plant collagen which helps restore skin's elasticity and youthfulness, and it is rich in tocopherols (Vitamin E) and polyphenols, which help at combating oxidative stress of skin with its antioxidant and conditioning qualities. Chamomilla (Blue) (Matricaria recutita) Flower

Chamomile is a wonderful herb for children as well as for adults, and those with a compromised immune systems. The tea or bath of chamomile is commonly used as a sleep aid and helps to soothe and calm a baby or child who is restless and irritable, as well as encourage sleep. Chamomile contains phenolic derivatives, which have antiseptic and healing qualities, and is helpful in relieving skin congestion. It is used for its cell regeneration, healing, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, as well as reducing  skin  puffiness. Chamomile studies show it is helpful with skin problems, including acne, eczema, skin rashes and irritation, and other skin problems.

The most popular American medicinal plant of all time. The sugars of the herb are its immune stimulants. Echinacea is particularly beneficial for the treatment of sores, wounds, burns etc, and possesses a cortisone-like and antibacterial activity. Echinacea is recommended as a natural skin care treatment for those suffering from minor skin wounds, inflammation and other skin problems. One clinical study showed that 85 percent of the 4,598 participants experienced improvement in a number of disorders, including burns, wounds and eczema.

Lavender Flower (Lavandula spp)
